L. Anne and Claire Marta continue to dazzle in books two and three, Dare to Break and Dare to Fall, in the Churchill Bradley Academy series taking off of the strong foundation laid out in book one Dare to Break. These books escalate events and their portrayals interactions building up well plotted confusion for the characters and readers alike. Added to this mix was Eli and Arabella's off the charts attraction and their warring feelings for each other. No action in these works was without consequence or reason making this an exceptional and challenging series to work through. The ups and downs of Eli and Arabella were dizzying making it impossible to get complacent.
If the last book in this series is anything like its predecessors, be prepared for an incredible read!

Leo Hernandez was a living, breathing heartthrob graced with wit, looks and talent way beyond what most people could dream of yet the one thing he wanted, the girl of his dreams, eluded him from a past of miscommunication and immaturity. Mary Silver was unrepentantly authentic facing her challenges and going after what she wanted. Ms. Steiner did a wonderful job of taking a character, Mary, who often came off as abrasive and difficult and making them appealing and inspiring, no easy feat. The past and present connection between Leo and Mary was rife with angst and secrets making their interactions spicy and volatile. In the end it was impossible not to want this couple to find their happiness both individually and together. The supporting cast was extremely entertaining and kept this story lively.
Kandi Steiner mixes poignant moments and hilarious antics with ease. Her scenes flow and show she has a real connection with her characters that carries over to her stories. The true voices of her portrayals often contradict the images they project to the world making them irresistibly intriguing. This was a series that readers will find it hard to pick a favorite. Each book brought something to the plate filled with smart banter and emotional layers. Ms. Steiner captured her audience's attention but ultimately captured their hearts in her Red Zone Rivals series and Hail Mary was the perfect way to end it!

Authors L. Ann and Claire Marta join forces bringing bully romance to the next level in their introduction to their new Churchill Bradley Academy series Dare to Break!
A life of privilege versus a life of hardship found even ground in the individual struggles that formed and shaped new stepsiblings Eli and Arabella into who they were. Blinded by their own angst and combative interactions, misconceptions and anger triggered a series of decisions that paved the way to sinister machinations and inner conflict between them. The simmering attraction that went on with this couple added a great contrast to their hostility to each other leaving them constantly on the verge of combusting and keeping readers on the edge of their seats. The supporting cast was well developed and contributed greatly to this story rounding out not only Eli and Arabella but this work as a whole.
L. Ann and Claire Marta prove to be an excellent collaborative team and wonderfully insync in their writing and thought process. Strategic well thought out plotting kept this story on the edge and built up perfectly to the next work in this series. While having typical bully romance elements, what made this story stand out was its depth and literally vibrating with suspense. Layers of intrigue and feelings made this a deliciously emotionally exhausting trek to some dark places. These authors created a complicated and intense work that accurately captured the vulnerability and unease teenagers/young adults navigate with the at times seemingly insurmountable pressure of their peers for a dark, at times disturbing and always captivating story in Dare to Break. The next installment of Churchill Bradley Academy will not come fast enough for readers who take on this series!

Aly Stiles story Chasing Riptides will put your emotions in a stranglehold.
Matty Silva was so lost, to himself, others, the universe. His glimmers of hope and purpose were breathtaking but his continuous struggle to not spiral downward was agony. His push and pull with torment and hope and inability to see clearly in his judgments continuously circled this story. Matty's goodness and odd purity were an interesting contrast to his outward persona of reckless indifference and made for a character that readers will find hard to walk away from.
Britt Esposito deserves a singular WOW. There was no truer friend than Britt, wrapped up in brusque, brutal truths and nurturing belief and support. The magnitude of her love and devotion was staggering but more so her awareness and ability to call Matty on his behavior setting firm lines was as painful as it was touching.
Matty and Britt saw each other in a way that kept them as real. Their bond was both a curse and blessing as their true selves were transparent to each other but by the same token their fears and weaknesses were impossible to hide. As this couple came to terms with their evolving feelings their friendship was put to the test and their trust in each other was pushed to its limits. Revelations, faith and hope battled long held beliefs and despair making the dynamics in this relationship intense. The power of this pair's love was done extremely well by this author while still showing the significant holds their personal issues had on their fates.
Aly Stiles' levels of empathy and old soul insight are at times inspiring and other times disconcerting. She sees, hears and feels in her writing with a rare sensitivity displayed in beautiful words. She is an author the world would be a better place for reading one of her works and experiencing and conquering the pain she eloquently navigates. Chasing Riptides firmly establishes Aly Stiles as a go to author who continues to bring compelling stories to her audience.

Caught up in a world of family curses and alliances rugged Wolf Ramsey and introverted and refined Vivi Fitzpatrick found themselves fulfilling family obligations even as they struggled with their differences and undeniable attraction. There was so much more to Wolf than his outward appearance of untamed masculinity and roughness. Behind his exterior was a kind heart and intelligence that those close to him knew but often was invisible to everyone outside of his inner circle. Vivi Fitzpatrick was vulnerable and beautiful, taken for granted by her family's selfish needs, an afterthought in the larger scheme of her family's ambitions. Vivi's hopes and dreams fought with the tight control of her family over her, yet she was much stronger than anyone knew.
When Wolf and Vivi first met Wolf fell hard for Vivi. His focused pursuit of VIvi was as overwhelming as it was intriguing to Vivi quickly changing her opinion of Wolf for the better as she discovered that he was so much more than her original assessment. As this couple worked through their lust clouded preconceived perceptions of each other the revelation of their true selves was enlightening and bonding. Their ultimate commitment and intuitive understanding of each other was well done by this author, making it easy to buy into their falling in love. There was no shortage of steam between this pair!

Leo F*cking Hernandez.
North Boston University’s star running back, notorious bachelor, and number one on my people I would murder if I could get away with it list.
And now?
He’s my new roommate.
I used to think I loved him.
But that was before I hated him.
He doesn’t remember who I am, or how he made my life miserable for years. And before I unknowingly moved across the street from him, I couldn’t have cared less. I was living my life despite him and what happened that summer, chasing my dream of becoming a tattoo artist.
“The Pit,” as the university so gracefully nicknamed the house he lives in with three other football players, has served as nothing more than a pain in my ass and a constant reminder of the boy who broke my heart. Watching him parade his one-night-stands in and out of it never helped, either.
But with rent this cheap and so close to the tattoo shop, I’ve learned to ignore him — no matter how he’s tried to get under my skin.
At least, until this summer. Because when a water and mold disaster leaves me with no choice but to vacate my house, I have nowhere to go. And Leo Hernandez offers me a deal I can’t refuse.
Live at The Pit with him and the guys, free of charge, until my landlord fixes this mess.
Ignoring him was easy when I lived across the street, but in the same house, with him shirtless half the time and watching me with his cocky grin and searing gaze? It’s impossible.
Still, I have to try. I have to push him away, even when he makes it infuriatingly difficult to do so.

No two Kandi Steiner books are the same, and if you're a lover of angsty, emotional, and inspirational reads, she's your gal.
An alumna of the University of Central Florida, Kandi graduated with a double major in Creative Writing and Advertising/PR with a minor in Women's Studies. She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic, and likes to highlight all the challenges of love as well as the triumphs.

This work started off with an unconventional first encounter and took off from there. Andrew Talbot, the eighth Duke of Lockwood was in need of a wife and was willing to put in the work to insure that his family legacy passed on to the next generation. In possession of abundant charm and good looks it would seem that finding a wife would come easy to him yet he continuously ran into hurdles in achieving his goal. Eleanor "Nellie" Young seemingly could care less about what society thought of her and proudly flouted her independence in a time where women were scorned for doing so.
Steamy encounters and sharp dialog rounded out this work for a read easy to get caught up in. What made for interesting dynamics in this story was that both Lockwood and Nellie carried burdens that leveled their playing field. Nellie's defiant approach to her life and reckless behavior coupled with the fear of committing her heart ultimately made Nellie her own worst enemy. This author did a great job of evolving Nellie and fleshing out her issues. Lockwood's mounting desperation brought about by his father's poor choices and limited time made his dependence on the whims of others that much more difficult. Despite his struggles in obtaining a wife it was hard not to be smitten by Lockwood. As a pair this couple had a lot to deal with beyond their physical attraction keeping this story moving quickly.
One of the things that stands out when reading Joanna Shupe is her strong independent women that stand up against their assigned roles in the society they live in. With works full of history and its constraints this author faces her stories fearlessly. The Duke Gets Even brings another one of a kind Joanna Shupe romance to delight her readers with her forward thinking twist on history!

S. Cole brings suspense, intrigue and spice to the pages with the start of her new Iron Outlaws MC series in The Sins We Hide!
With a clever twist of the King Arthur legend, from names to betrayals, this story held lots of secrets and sins busting at the seams to be revealed. Childhood sweethearts separated and unexpectedly reunited Landon and Gwen were not without obstacles to overcome, yet their attraction and lifelong loyalty prevailed in the end. Landon's noble deeds and inclinations often conflicted with the lifestyle he had chosen but made him an extremely appealing hero in his contrast. Gwen was the prize worth fighting for and defending, showing her grit when the time came to. This couple's devotion and love for each other was as sweet as it was steamy. An interesting secondary cast kept this story moving and built up interest for future stories in this series.
S. Cole aka Scarlett Cole is an author worth committing to. With a solid body of works that stand out collectively and on their own she makes the case for one clicking. Her stories are always emotional and angsty with a foundation of strong portrayals that are complicated and compelling. The Sins We Hide is a good start to what promises to be a wild ride of a series!

FromUSA Todaybest selling author Scarlett Cole, writing as S. Cole, comes an electrifyingMC, friends to enemies to lovers romance.
Gwen
The boy I once loved is now the fearless Vice President of the Iron Outlaws MC.
And he hates me.
Because of something that happened years ago. It's not my fault his father ended up inside for life because of that night. But that doesn't stop him holding me captive until I tell him what happened. Except I can't. Because not knowing is why I'm back here in this cesspit.
Clutch
The girl I once loved is now the enemy of my club.
Even though she's also the sister of my best friend and our club's new president.
I don't care that trouble brings her to my door looking for help. She doesn't deserve our protection. Until she tells me a secret that stands everything we know about the club on end. Sins well hidden killed what chance of happiness we once had. But now, they're going to kill her.
The tattoo across my right hip says it all really. A Life Less Ordinary. Inked by the amazingly talented Luke Wessman at the Wooster Street Social Club (a.k.a. New York Ink). Why is it important? Well, it sums up my view on life. That we should all aspire to live a life that is less boring, less predictable. Be bold, and do something amazing. I’ve made some crazy choices. I’ve been a car maker, a consultant, and even a senior executive at a large retailer running strategy.
Born in England, spent time in the U.S. and Japan, before ending up in Canada where I met my own, personal hero – all six and a half feet of him. Both of us are scorpios! Yeah, I know! Should have checked the astrological signs earlier, but somehow it works for us. We have two amazing kids, who I either could never part with or could easily be convinced to sell on e-bay.
I’ve wanted to be a writer for a really long time. Check through my office cupboards or my computer and you’ll find half written stories and character descriptions everywhere. Now I'm getting the chance to follow that dream.
Recently Elsie Silver has been popping on the romance book scene everywhere. If you love down to earth characters that are fabulously vulnerable and completely captivating look no further you have hit the mother lode in Elsie Silver.
Heartless brings rancher Cade Eaton his HEA in a surprising and perfect way with the arrival of the last person he would have expected to trust as the nanny for his son and win over his heart. Gruff and gritty if a look could convey one thousand words Cade was your man. Free spirited with an unconventional background Willa Grant effortlessly won over Cade and his son with her kindness and inherent joy. With lots of avoidance of the mutual attraction between them, for a variety of reasons from their age gap to the attachment of a child in an unpredictable situation, Cade and Willa kept this story charged and steamy. Meeting in the middle with their unique styles of nurturing this couple was really well matched.
The banter and wit between Cade and Willa and as a whole with all the characters in this book was done exceedingly well and made this work stand out. The inclusion of children in a story can often make or break it but Cade's five year old son Luke was portrayed with sensitivity, accuracy and was age appropriately charming, adding a wonderful layer to this book.
Elsie Silver strips her characters down for emotional and revealing portrayals that are memorable. For every laugh out loud moment there are just as many tears balancing this author's works and making them relatable to her audience. Angst and happiness go hand in hand in Heartless for a touching story sure to win over the hearts of readers!
*While part of a series this work can be read as a stand alone.*
Just when you thought things couldn't get any more twisty and kinky Siobhan Davis rockets this story through the stratosphere.
The heroine of this work, Ashley Shaw, at the end of Dirty Crazy Bad book one was left trying to wrap her head around some serious revelations as well as being in a position where multiple characters were reliant on her thinking on her feet and holding their fate in her hands. With an unresolved love life and personal circumstances rife with danger Ashley was proven to be more than capable of stepping up and owning her situation. The intrigue and plotting in this work was incredible and impossible not to be caught up in. Each of Ashley's love interests added a nice layer and complimented her. The attraction level in this book was off the charts and Ms. Davis brought on the heat with no inhibitions.
Siobhan Davis is a writer that shows versatility, loves a good secret(s) and keeps her audience's adrenaline going for unpredictable sensuous adventures. Her ability to keep her readers guessing and create viable unconventional characters is pure genius. Ms. Davis' villains are next level, fully in maniacal territory, providing some cutting edge twist but it is her heroes and heroines who shine with their strength and grit. Dirty Crazy Bad book two was just that and readers will revel in it!

Just when you think Elizabeth O'Roark can't get better along comes The Devil Gets His Due!
Keeley Connolly was such a well-put together character in all her chaos. Seemingly superficial she didn't even try to hide her true nature but most people took her at face value as she sought to deny herself all the things she craved, projecting an image of what she felt people expected of her rather than her true self. Despite her efforts to reach for the lowest of expectations, she still managed to rise to most occasions and was refreshingly honest. Keeley made no bones about what she said or did and took ownership of her actions. For someone who for all outward appearances seemed tough as nails she was vulnerable to the people who should have cared about her the most and was often their scapegoat and doormat.
Graham Tate was beyond cut off and with very good reason. Scarred from a childhood that many did not know about, to the world he appeared to be the epitome of success. His underlying insecurity was well masked by his sarcasm and aloofness. This all changed when the whirlwind called Keeley popped into this life. From the start there was no doubt even with the confrontational exchanges that this couple had that they were more than suited to each other and meant to be. From their kindness that ached to come out and find recipients to their gruffly expressed concern for each other, the chemistry between this couple was fierce.
Histories and facts often have a funny way of converging and allowing people to reevaluate their initial judgments and this was the case with Keeley and Graham. As their lives joined their wit became less acerbic and was more of a comforting bonding. Their similarities soon overcame their initial glaring differences. With only their instincts to guide them it was not unexpected to see this pair struggle with their growing feelings with no good role models for relationships and love to look to. As things came to light it was apparent that this couple's biggest challenge to love was not external forces but themselves. Ms. O'Roark's secondary characters were well placed and enhanced this work.
Joy and sorrow mix together effortlessly in Elizabeth O'Roark's writing. Her work has so much to offer and every word means something. This author approaches her stories in big gasping gulps for touching and interesting portrayals. Her character interactions are sublime and are in a league of their own. The Devil Gets His Due adds another great work to Elizabeth O'Roark's Devil series!

Karen Cimms captures all the feels of small town romance with rockstar flair in the first book of her new Gravel Hill Boys series, Forever and Always!
Ms. Cimms sets the stage in her work with all the insecurities of young love left to simmer and brew over a six-year separation instigated from the immaturity and miscommunication of her leads. Now Beau Edward Taylor is a country music star and Brooklyn Anne Barnett has been dealt more than her fair share of life's hardships. When a happenstance encounter forces the two high school sweethearts to confront their heartbreak and find the unanswered questions that lingered and prevented them from moving on from each other, the feelings that surfaces were explosive. Emotional and volatile, this reunion offered some challenging and steamy confrontations as well as a mountain of regrets. All the festering hurt they each held close came to the surface as the reality that maybe the time they lost never needed to happen.
As truths were revealed it became apparent that there were more than just Beau and Brooklyn's individual actions involved in their estrangement leaving readers to work through the layers of their breakup with them. This author did a fantastic job of conveying the intensity of this couple's feelings and hurts. Details flourished in this story giving readers a complex view into this pair's schism as well as providing moments that built up for some unexpected twist simultaneously shedding light on their breakup. The supporting cast of characters in this work was well rounded and richly devised, grabbing reader’s attention and adding to the story being told in memorable ways. While there was no shortage of angst in this work there was a nice balance of hope and humor.
Karen Cimms shares unfiltered portrayals that give her audience people that are relatable in their vulnerability. Her ability to bring to her readers a familiarity with her characters provides a reader / writer bond that is intense and rare. This author is always one step ahead in her work keeping her readers easily engaged even as they are caught up in the substance of her writing. L. Ann brings the band Black Rosary into the spotlight in Fractured Angel with the story of its lead singer Marley Stone for a great new series for readers to swoon over!
Nice with an edge Marley Stone was the catnip hero readers crave! This character was a complicated mix of good guy and bad boy rolled into the perfect package. This author made you question everything you thought you knew about Marley for a portrayal readers will adore. With a constant barrage of abuse pop princess Rain "Rainbow" Silverman showed that she was strong but not without vulnerabilities. Ultimately Rain was an example of rising to one's best and conquering one's personal demons and very real threats regardless of the painful circumstances they had to endure. In the end Rain proved what an amazing and resilient heroine she was!
The connection between Marley and Rain was caring with a liberal dose of naughty making it irresistible. There was no shortage of chemistry between this pair! It was easy to see this couple's attraction and hard to see the battles they had to fight to be together, giving L. Ann's audience a compelling story to dig into. Rain's circumstances would put a strain on any relationship and Marley proved that he was the right person to be in her life. While Marley always had a solid supportive group of family and friends Rain had been left alone to navigate her exploitation and mistreatment by almost everyone around her for years. Despite the lies, confusion and mixed signals that attempted to corrupt this relationship this was a couple that saw each other without rose tinted glasses and after slogging through some trying obstacles they found their way back to each other stronger for it.
L Ann keeps bringing interesting characters with more than their fair share of challenges to the forefront for fantastic stories. Her writing is addictive and immersive as emotions flow with depth and meaning steadily. Secrets, compromises and a smoking hot connection twist Fractured Angel to the very end for a great read!

From the Wall Street Journal bestselling author of 44 Chapters About 4 Men (inspiration for the Netflix Original series Sex/Life) comes a dark mafia romance steeped in Irish folklore.
I can't remember anymore if my grandfather's eyes were blue or green, but I'll never forget the way they wrinkled at the corners when he laughed at one of his own jokes. Or the way they sparkled with mischief when he told me tales about the magical creatures that dwelled in the forest behind his humble Irish sheep farm--shy fairies who liked to eat tea biscuits, cruel witches who liked to eat children, a moody lake spirit with a taste for expensive gifts.
As a child, I believed every fantastical word. But when he warned me about the mute boy who also lurked in those woods, the one the priest had declared to be the spawn of Satan himself, I refused to listen. Kellen wasn't evil. He was kind, and beautiful, and special, and hurting. He was my friend. And with every summer I spent stolen away with him in those enchanted woods, he grew to become so much more.
But when I return to Glenshire as an adult, grieving and engaged to someone else, all those legends quickly morph into nightmares.
My grandfather had been right about everything, especially the boy.
If only I had listened.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Devil of Dublin is intended for mature audiences who enjoy extremely dark subject matter, high emotional intensity, explicit adult content, graphic violence, heart-pounding suspense, fairy-tale worthy love, and gorgeous Irish scenery. If that sounds like you, then welcome to Glenshire! If you're unsure, please review the comprehensive content warning on my website before reading.
Special edition hardbacks and paperbacks are also available with an alternate cover designed by Emily Wittig and eight full-page, B&W photos of the gorgeous Irish locations mentioned in the book!

Meet BB Easton
Wall Street Journal bestselling author BB Easton lives in the suburbs of Atlanta with her long-suffering husband, Ken, and two adorable children. A few years ago, she quit her job as a school psychologist to write books about her punk rock past and deviant sexual history full-time. Ken wasn’t super excited about that, but now that he’s appeared in three of her books and inspired a TV show character, he’s incredibly supportive.
BB’s debut memoir, 44 Chapters About 4 Men, went on to inspire the Netflix original series, Sex/Life, which was viewed by 67 million households worldwide within the first month making it the 3rd most-watched Netflix original series of all time. Because she had so much fun writing 44 Chapters, BB went on to publish four more wickedly funny, shockingly steamy, and heartwarmingly autobiographical books, one for each man in her memoir—Skin, Speed, Star, and Suit.
The Rain Trilogy—a dark, immersive, end-of-the-world romance—was BB’s first work of fiction. Or at least, that’s what she thought when she wrote it in 2019. Then, 2020 hit, and all of her dystopian plot points started coming true. Hoping to fix everything, BB returned with a fun, feel-good romantic comedy called Group Therapy, but alas, the world is still on fire … and so is BB’s desire to write intense, us-against-the-world romances. Her next release,Devil of Dublin, is a dark Irish mafia romance steeped in folklore and family secrets.
You can find BB procrastinating in all of the following places:
Tragic and magical join together for a timeless love story in Devil of Dublin creating a bond that defied the odds!
Kellen Donovan was tortured and brutalized as his life played out in a series of horrific events. From the moment he met Darby Collins Kellen connected to his sense of humanity as his childhood friend showed him the love and compassion that everyone else withheld from him as they abused and shunned him. When this pair first met Darby was precocious and full of hope making it impossible for Kellen not to be drawn to her. Yet as the years passed and the two lost touch Darby's life took a turn for the worst and her infectious happiness was drained from her. When fate brought this pair back together a series of incidents culminated in an edgy reunion that brought everything to the forefront in an emotional, heartbreaking and ultimately triumphant way.
Kellen lived in darkness but his loyalty and devotion to Darby redeemed him despite living a life of isolation invested in coldhearted deeds. His brokenness and resignation to the life he led was painful to watch. Darby's life's surprising disastrous turn was an equally bleak existence. Her inner strength easily translated to her actions showing her to be a formable heroine. This couple alone seemed hopeless but together raised above their despair to show a strong front capable of conquering their obstacles. While there was a powerful chemistry between this couple it was their friendship that took their relationship to the next level. The abuses this pair suffered were excruciating to see but this author did a sensitive and thoughtful job of relating this subject matter and its resolution.
One of the things that makes this author so appealing is her willingness to test the waters of new ideas and scenarios. Her compassion and understanding to her portrayals is always present and her truths, no matter how difficult, are shared. With B.B. Easton never be complacent because she is ever evolving. Devil of Dublin is an emotional ride with no lack of action and surprises for an exciting read!

In book 4 of her Blood & Bone series, Bound to Burn, Paula Dombrowiak cements her place as a strong voice in romance.
While lighter than the rest of the works in this outstanding series Bound to Burn still had the significant undertones of the sadness and tragedy that colored Ms. Dombrowiak's previous works. Where this story deviated was that it focused more on the transition of moving on and finding happiness.
Cash Morgan went from a sad solitary man mired in his past sorrows to opening up to a young fresh perspective in pink sparkly converse. Sasha Leone, the catalyst to Cash's transformation, was not without a life touched by misfortune yet her approach to life allowed her to look ahead and not behind, always reaching for life's potential rather than settling in defeat. Ms. Dombrowiak did a great job of juxtaposing Sasha's physical youth against her beyond her years wisdom. Sasha served as a good example and mentor showing Cash how to move on. This couple's grumpy/sunshine dynamic was often charming but was by no means trite as it touched on the serious issues that held them back. This couple's personal struggles were written thoughtfully as his author shared some poignant moments. Sasha and Cash without a doubt were caught up in a timeless and fated relationship that once they surrendered to their attraction and intense feelings were able to move toward the happiness they both deserved.
It is clear from reading Paula Dombrowiak's work that she is emotionally invested in her characters with her deep introspective portrayals and intertwined stories. This author's writing is passionate and complicated, easily captivating her audience. Bound to Burn was a nice progression of a wonderful series!
