Goofy and sweet eventually evolved into intense and emotional as childhood sweethearts Aiden Walters and Hailee Jones navigated the waters of attraction and true love in Northern Stars.

From the start Aiden and Hailee were destined to be with each other, it all came down to timing. As Aiden found himself skyrocketing to fame in Hollywood Hailee struggled with her self worth and being influenced by others who had their own agendas where hers and Aiden's relationship went. After some heartbreaking confrontations the two lovers found themselves separated by distance and circumstances dealing with broken hearts.

Aiden Walters saw beauty in his own unique way not influenced by what others told him. His love for Hailee was genuine and all encompassing from loving her exterior to loving her interior Aiden was a man who knew his heart and stood by it. Hailee Jones was held captive by her own misconceptions of what Aiden wanted from a partner. In the end her insecurities sabotaged the one thing she wanted more than anything, to be with Aiden. Seeing Hailee grow from a girl lacking in confidence and self-esteem to a woman who took ownership of herself was empowering and made for a great heroine. There was nothing superficial about this couple and their interactions ran a full spectrum of humorous to heartbreaking.

Brittainy C. Cherry's love of romance shows in every word she writes. The bonds between her characters are fraught with obstacles and intense feelings that leave them grasping at love even as they question it. Her characters are human and familiar, people that readers can easily relate to. Ms. Cherry's sensitivity seems boundless and it carries over beautifully as she wraps up her Compass series with Northern Stars and a wonderful HEA.
