Dr. Luna "Lu" Sperling had a lot going on, from a highly colorful and dysfunctional past to an extremely difficult present. In B.B. Easton's latest work, Group Therapy, choices came into question under her author microscope for some terrifyingly enlightening revelations that will have her readers feeling despondent one minute and laughing out loud the next over her portrayals over the top mishaps.

When Lu found herself reluctantly pushed into the role as the ill equipped therapist of famous author Thomas O’Reardon, she knew she was taking on more than she could handle. Posturing as an expert at creativity and reining in her fan girl for a client who was suffering from writer's block she ran directly into a moral and ethical dilemma with her barely started career at stake. Bringing more than his fair share of baggage, both literally and figuratively, to this scenario was Thomas, a charming disaster waiting to happen.

From the start the dynamic between this pair was awkwardly steamy in the best possible way and kept readers wondering at any given moment what would happen next between them. While extremely witty there were significant poignant moments that kept this work's characters from being caricatures and giving this book a good balance. It was clear that Ms. Easton knows her way around the rom-com universe and excelled at tapping into the humor without being excessive and undermining her story. The secondary cast of this work was original and hilarious.

Nobody does escapades like BB Easton. Her lack of filter brings wonderfully raw feelings from one end of the spectrum to the other. This writer bares her characters' souls and finds a place to give love to all the outsiders of the world showing their worth with kindness and caring for some excellent unique stories. Group Therapy is B.B. Easton at her refreshingly irreverent best.
